Who was the first Charles Buck?

Charles Buck of Hucknall Torkard - who was his father? I still don't know, after doing a certain amount of research & reading. We know he was born about 1753 (see burial information below), married a woman named Hannah Newbut in 1775 and his great-grandson emigrated to Utah in 1865.
Putting that question aside for now, let's talk about Charles Starbuck, born 1724 and died 1784 in Greasley parish. He died a pauper (see attached). We know that a Charles Starbuck married Martha Onion in 1745 at Greasley. It seems reasonable to me that a man born in 1724 would have married at age 21, and that these Charles' are the same person.
Charles & Martha had two sons, John (born 1748) & Charles (born 1753). If they had more children together, I don't know. (see familysearch.org - GS Film #503497)
