The Buck mysteries shall resume....

The Buck mysteries shall resume....
One day last summer, I looked at my genealogy sheets that Angela had put together in the mid-1990's. I wondered who were these Buck people anyway, and where did they come from? And I noticed what could be a discrepancy. A Francis Buck, born 1704 in Wollaton, Notts, was said to be the father of both Charles Buck (born 1753) and Thomas Buck (born 1743).
Not a problem, yet. Charles Buck (1753) married Hannah Newbut in 1775, and is our dire...ct ancestor through the Joseph & Charles Buck's of Hucknall & Utah. Thomas Buck married an Ann Trueman & the genealogy chart says their daughter Mary Buck married a George Bonnington, an ancestor of Hannah Chauntry (the wife of the Utah pioneer Charles Buck).
Over the next few posts, I shall attempt to explain what I discovered (and failed to discover) when I tried to verify the attached family group sheets, specifically the parentage of one Charles Buck of Hucknall Torkard, born in 1753.
(see attached group sheets with my handwriting - which I will attach someday when I figure it out.)
